Episode Summary
iEcclesia features the first episode of a multi-part series.
The program begins with Father Peter asking His Eminence how he would describe the state of Orthodoxy in North America today. Next, In regards to inter-Orthodox relations, His Eminence discusses how the relations are between the various sister Orthodox jurisdictions. His Eminence talks about success stories in terms of cooperation with organizations such as IOCC and SCOBA. There has been much talk about a united Orthodox Church in North America where different models have been proposed. His Eminence talks about the best way in which to unite Orthodoxy in America and whether unity of all Orthodox jurisdictions is a real possibility down the road, or does the status quo simply suffice. The program wraps up with His Eminence sharing where he sees the Orthodox Church twenty years down the road.
