Episode Summary
Every Great Lent, iEcclesia features weekly podcasts, covering a variety of topics related to this very important period of the Church year. These programs are designed to help the listener understand why we celebrate Great Lent, the weekly themes, and concluding with the importance of Holy Week and Pascha. Today’s podcast is the sixth in our Great Lent 2009 Series. The program begins with our guest describing the specific theme that is attached to this week, as well as the saints and events we commemorate. As Christians are approaching Holy Week, our guest tells what are some things they should do to prepare during this week before Holy Week. Father Peter also speaks about those who didn't fast or who didn't go for confession and offers some thoughts and how they can prepare for Holy Week. The program continues with a word of advise to the so-called C-and-E Christian and what they must do to prepare. Next, our guest answers why should Christians even care about Holy Week. The program concludes with final comments.
