Episode Summary

iEcclesia presents the first of a three part program on a topic that has been with us since the beginning of time. Some fear it and never talk about it, while others embrace it as a reality and fact of life. Guest host Tim Prattas begins by asking the panel how society and the church would define death and their differing views of it. Next, the issue of superstitions and traditions surrounding death in the various Orthodox cultures; where they came from and how they are dealt with and explained is discussed. The episode concludes with a word on the mourning process and whether it is ok to cry at a funeral or memorial and how to properly deal with the loss of a loved one.

Watch for the continuation of this program on a future broadcast.
