Episode Summary iEcclesia presents the first episode of a two part program on an important topic that effects everyone, particularly teenagers and young adults. Host Patricia Rakopoulos and guest Dr. Albert Rossi tackle this difficult issue from both the Christian Orthodox as well as the psychological perspective. The show begins with a definition of covenant responsibility. Dr Rossi comments on how the popular societal image and portrayal of sex has blurred and complicated our understanding of its true purpose. Also discussed is how sex in marriage is considered both a gift and grace from God. Finally, the discussion tackles what has emptied sex of its grace and marriage of its covenantal value and why we have gone so far away from Christ in what marriage is truly meant to be and what spouses are meant to be to each other.
