Episode Summary

Christmas is one of the times in the year where Christians all over the world celebrate the “fullness of time”, with God sending His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, into the world. As we gather in our Churches, we remember what St. Athanasios the Great told us of this feast: “God became man, so man can become god…so man can become holy.”

With this Great Feast around the corner, the poinsettias are in full bloom, the snow is falling and kids are telling Santa what they want for Christmas. Yet, all too often, people tend to forget the Reason for the season. Even the phrase “Merry Christmas!” is seen as “inappropriate” for some people, hearing only the all-inclusive “Happy Holidays”.
